Every height on Stature Facts goes through the same checklist before it is published.
1. Where did the number come from?
We look for the earliest and most direct source. Sports leagues that measure players, recorded interviews and official agency profiles rank highest. A number that only appears on fan wikis is treated as a lead, not a fact.
2. Does it match the photos?
We compare the person with others of well-documented height, using photos where both stand on the same level and their shoes are visible. Several events are better than one.
3. What are they wearing?
- Sneakers: about 2 to 3 cm
- Dress shoes: about 3 cm
- Boots: about 4 to 5 cm
- Heels: 6 to 12 cm or more
- Hidden lifts: often 5 cm or more
4. Is the person still growing?
Young athletes and teenage actors may still be growing, so we mark their heights with the date and revisit them.
5. Say how confident we are
If evidence is mixed, we say so and give a range rather than a single precise number.
